A Note from Your PTO
Thank you to the over 40 parents who came out for our first Parent Community Chat last night and congrats to those that won some goodies from our raffle! Mrs. Teel and Ms. England kicked off our time by introducing us to JiJi and walked us through a demo of the new ST math program our school is using as one supplement to the Investigations math curriculum. After the demo, we had a short Q and A with a discussion by parents, teachers, and administrations about classroom screen time, the research behind ST Math, and the student excitement over the program. We then had a short 30 minute PTO meeting where we approved the 17-18 PTO budget, highlighted upcoming events, and discussed volunteer opportunities. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to come out and look forward to seeing you at our next Chat and Meeting on November 27th.
