Young Entrepreneurs Fair
Friday, December 1st, 7:00-8:30pm, Hollymead Auditorium
All Hollymead students are invited to participate in the PTO’s Young Entrepreneur Fair. Use your imagination and best business sense to create a product or service that you can sell to fellow students and families!! All items should be priced at $5 or less.
To participate, please register by Monday, November 27th. We strongly encourage students to sign up in pairs (space is limited). Young Entrepreneur Registration
Parent Community Chat
Monday, December 4, 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Hollymead Library
School safety starts with our leaders, who take precautions to prevent crises and have a plan for disasters. Come hear from one of our leaders, Ms. Staci England, about our Hollymead School Safety Plan. Following the Chat time, we will have a brief PTO meeting. Refreshments and a raffle will be provided!
Hollymead School Directory
Last week you should have received your Hollymead Directory. If you did not receive one, please stop by the office to pick one up. The PTO would like to thank Shannon DeSalvo for all of her time and efforts in putting the Directory together. Shannon collected the information, worked with Mrs. Foster on the artwork, sold the ads to area businesses, and did the layout! Shannon – we appreciate you!!

A Note from Your PTO
Dear Hollymead Families,
Last week I attended our monthly ACPS Parent Council meeting. We heard about the 2018-2019 school calendar, the district budget, and technology. Do you have opinions about technology use in our schools or how our budget is distributed? If the answer is yes, then there are two surveys that have recently been sent out for you to participate in.
- A budget survey (please participate by December 3rd). Click here to take the survey
- A technology Speak Up survey (please participate by January 19th)

– Select “Begin Survey.”
– Select your group (Parents or Educators).
– Search for your school by entering your zip code or by selecting Virginia and selecting your school’s name from the list.
– Read the instructions and begin the survey.
