PTO Volunteer Spotlight
Meet Deb Murphy!
Did you know that Deb Murphy has been preparing and sharing her knowledge of food for 20 years at Hollymead? Deb is our Cafeteria Manager and loves that Hollymead is such a nice neighborhood and community school, much like her elementary school in Connecticut.
She enjoys spending time with the students by reading in the classrooms and teaching cooking classes. Deb enjoys walking, baking, and visiting friends and family. She volunteers and participates in the Earlysville Turkey Trot, Relay for Life, and is an active member of the School Nutrition Association. She has been married to Brian for 15 years and they enjoy taking motorcycle rides and finding ice cream stands to sample soft serve ice cream.
Thanks, Deb, for ALL you do for Hollymead!
If you have information to be included in our weekly Hornet Happenings, please remember to email us at hollymeadptocommunications@gmail.com by the Monday before our Wednesday distribution.
