Please join us as celebrate the wonderful staff of Hollymead Elementary School next week, May 7th-11th!
We would love your support in helping to provide lunch and snacks throughout the week for the staff who care for our children daily. Please see below for our special events and help us by signing up to volunteer to bring one or more items from our lists. Thank you in advance for volunteering to help us celebrate our fabulous staff!

Reminders
Last chance to register for Camp4Real Kids Night Out at Hollymead!
Registration closes THIS Friday for the Camp4Real Kids Night Out. Your child will have a blast participating in awesome physical activities and having a healthy snack too! Hollymead students in grades K-5 can attend the KNO. Register by completing the C4R Flier and returning it with your $25 payment. Kids Night Out is just a few days away on Friday, May 4th from 6:15-8:30pm.
Reading Without Walls Challenge!
Our Spring Reading Challenge was a huge success! Students across the school took the challenge to “read without walls” by reading books with characters who look and live differently, books in a new format, and books with a new topic. This week we’ll celebrate their success with a small token of recognition, so if your child hasn’t turned in their reading challenge guide, please encourage them to do that by this Thursday, May 3rd. May is National “Get Caught Reading” month, and we hope you’ll catch your children reading and reinforce the importance of wide, independent reading at home.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the book drive for alphabet and easy readers that we held on behalf of the International Rescue Committee. We collected nearly 200 books that will be placed in the homes of refugees in our community who are at the beginning of their journey to learn English. Your generosity will affect many homes!
