Hollymead School Directory
The directory is a valuable resource to encourage Hollymead families to connect with each other and to build our school community even stronger! In the directory, you will find class lists and contact information, as well as useful tips and tools for supporting our school and our PTO.
In order to be included in the directory, be sure to check the box “include in directory” when completing your student verification.
We love and appreciate all types of families at Hollymead, and because of this, we want to ensure your family dynamic is properly represented in this year’s Directory.
We also have a variety of advertising opportunities. Please email Shannon DeSalvo (HollymeadPTOVP@gmail.com) for more information on advertising and directory contact information.

PTO Presidents’ Message
Albemarle County Public Schools has a Parent Council composed of a representative from each school. This group gathers once a month and serves as a forum for parents, educators, and school officials to share ideas and exchange information in order to further advance the quality of the public education system. The Hollymead Representatives are our PTO Vice Presidents: Shannon DeSalvo and Sonja Carrick. They will share information they have learned via the PTO Hornet Happenings.
Last week they met and heard about Murray Middle and High School. Murray is an ACPS Charter school that uses an interdisciplinary approach to learning while meeting the standards of learning. It is project-based while also giving students as much choice as possible. If you would like to learn more visit https://www.acpsparentcouncil.org/home
If you have information to be included in our weekly Hornet Happenings, please remember to
Email us at hollymeadptocommunications@gmail.com by the Thursday before our
Sunday evening distribution.
