Calling all Junior Entrepreneurs…

This is your chance to share your million-dollar idea!

All Hollymead students are invited to participate in the PTO’s Young Entrepreneur Night on Friday, December 7th, from 7:00-8:30 pm. Set-up will begin at 6:30pm in the auditorium.

Use your imagination and best business sense to create a product or service that you can sell to fellow students and families! In the past, we’ve had students sell their homemade crafts, holidays gifts and baked goods – the possibilities are limitless! All items should be priced $5 or less.

To participate, please sign up by Friday, November 30th. We strongly encourage students to sign up in pairs (space is limited). You can find the registration form here: Young Entrepreneur Registration.

Mark your calendars for the first PTO Community chat of the year on Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30 pm. More information on this school event will be sent out in next week’s newsletter, so stay tuned!

The week of Thanksgiving is always super busy, whether you are staying home or heading out of town. Consider dining in or taking out from Chipotle to make dinner one less thing to worry about on Tuesday, November 20th from 4-8pm. Dinner will be taken care of and you’ll be supporting PTO programs at Hollymead. Please mention our school when you order in person at the Emmet Street location as online orders will not count towards our fundraiser. Thank you for your support!

Hollymead PTO is thrilled to announce two new fundraising opportunities. This week ALL Hollymead students came together as one caring family who worked together to change the world. They cut and tied 35 blankets to be donated to the International Rescue Committee for refugee families in our community. Inspired by the Kindness Rocks Project and Cville ROCKS, they decorated 430 rocks to hide around our community and beyond. Finally they collected 369 items of soap, paper towels, garbage bags, and pet food for the SPCA.

Hollymead Hornets are ready to change the world by being kind and doing kind things!

Many volunteers came together to help the students complete these amazing projects and the PTO and school send a big thank you!
