After-school Clubs: Registration is open now!

The PTO is offering 3 fun filled after -school clubs this spring. Join in on the fun and choose 1 of our 3 exciting after-school clubs–PE Club, Cooking Club, or Drama Club.

Registration is first-come, first-serve via on-line registration. The cost for each club is $60 for 5 weekly sessions. Payment must be submitted the following school day after registration is completed on-line.

PE CLUB

Join Mr. Carroll, Mr. Whitehead and all your friends as we play your favorite PE games. Be ready for “Speedball,” “NBAskills challenge,” “Paintball,” and many other favorites! Registration is limited to 30 students per class.

Marvelous Mondays is open to Hollymead students in grades K-2. Classes will meet on Mondays from February 25th to March 25th in the Hollymead gym (2:35-4:00pm).

Terrific Tuesdays is open to Hollymead students in grades 3-5. Classes will meet on Tuesdays from February 26th to March 26th in the Hollymead gym (2:35-4:00pm).

COOKING CLUB

Learn how to cook delicious snacks and treats in the Hollymead Cafeteria with our Food Service Manager, Deb Haas. Participants will have fun learning about new foods and how to prepare them while making healthy choices. Registration is limited to 12 students per class.

The Monday Club is open to Hollymead students in grades K-2 and will meet from February 25th to March 25th in the cafeteria (2:35-4:00pm).

The Tuesday Club is open to Hollymead students in grades 3-5 and will meet on Tuesdays from February 26th to March 26th in the cafeteria (2:35-4:00pm).

DRAMA CLUB

Join Hollymead Parent and actor of 25 years, Shannon DeSalvo Lawrence, for an introduction to acting class. This club is open for grades 3-5 (younger ages considered on a case-by-case basis). We will be exploring character development and basics to improv, as well as discussing the differences in the genres of acting and performance techniques in action. But most importantly, our goal will be to have fun and use our creative imaginations to learn! Registration is limited to 20 students.

The Drama Club is open to Hollymead students in grades 3-5 and will meet on Tuesdays from February 26th to March 26th in room 14 (2:35-4:00pm).

Dining Day Out at The Daily Grind is THIS THURSDAY

The Daily Grind is hosting our next Dining Night Out on Thursday, February 14th!

There so many ways to make your Valentine’s Day extra sweet with the Daily Grind. Stop by anytime during the day! Daily Grind will donate 10% of all purchases to the Hollymead PTO. Remember to show the flier or mention our school when you place your order. Thank you for your support!

Box Tops CollectionThe Box Tops Spring 2019 collection drive is on! Let’s use these box tops to help raise funds for Hollymead Elementary School. You can send the box tops in with your child to be dropped off in the Box Tops tub (next to the front office). Any box tops with dates of March 2019 and beyond are eligible for this collection. We will be collecting through Tuesday, February 26th.Here’s to a successful Box Top collection drive and thanks for your help in supporting Hollymead!
