March Dining Night OutMarch Madness is quickly approaching! For some of you, this means the excitement of college basketball! However, for many of you it might mean the madness of “WHAT’S FOR DINNER TONIGHT?!”. Well, don’t make yourself crazy, take the night off from cooking and head to Martin’s Grill on Wednesday, March 13th from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Martin’s Grill is located at 3449 Seminole Trail, just minutes from Hollymead! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Hollymead PTO. Fliers won’t be necessary–just mention you are there to support Hollymead’s Dining Night Out. Thanks in advance for your support!

Box Tops CollectionThe Box Tops Spring 2019 collection drive is on! Let’s use these box tops to help raise funds for Hollymead Elementary School. You can send the box tops in with your child to be dropped off in the Box Tops tub (next to the front office). Any box tops with dates of March 2019 and beyond are eligible for this collection. We will be collecting through Tuesday, February 26th.Here’s to a successful Box Top collection drive and thanks for your help in supporting Hollymead!

Registration is still open for PE and Drama After-school Clubs!

Join in on the fun and choose one of our exciting after-school clubs that are being offered by the PTO. You can choose from PE Club or Drama Club. Note that the Cooking Club is full and no additional registrations will be accepted.

Registration is first-come, first-serve via on-line registration. The cost for each club is $60 for 5 weekly sessions. Payment must be submitted the following school day after registration is completed on-line.

PE CLUB

Join Mr. Carroll, Mr. Whitehead and all your friends as we play your favorite PE games. Be ready for “Speedball,” “NBAskills challenge,” “Paintball,” and many other favorites! Registration is limited to 30 students per class.

Marvelous Mondays is open to Hollymead students in grades K-2. Classes will meet on Mondays from February 25th to March 25th in the Hollymead gym (2:35-4:00pm).

Terrific Tuesdays is open to Hollymead students in grades 3-5. Classes will meet on Tuesdays from February 26th to March 26th in the Hollymead gym (2:35-4:00pm).

DRAMA CLUB

Join Hollymead Parent and actor of 25 years, Shannon DeSalvo Lawrence, for an introduction to acting class. This club is open for grades 3-5 (younger ages considered on a case-by-case basis). We will be exploring character development and basics to improv, as well as discussing the differences in the genres of acting and performance techniques in action. But most importantly, our goal will be to have fun and use our creative imaginations to learn! Registration is limited to 20 students.

The Drama Club is open to Hollymead students in grades 3-5 and will meet on Tuesdays from February 26th to March 26th in room 14 (2:35-4:00pm).

Registration for all clubs is now open, so sign up today! These clubs will fill up fast!
