REMINDERS

We have many reminders below about a lot of great events happening over

the next few weeks. Read below to find out more about these fun activities and

ways you can help us make our events successful!

COFFEE and MATH MORNING

Want to know more about JiJi, subtraction with regrouping, or the 24 game? After drop off on Monday, March 18th, stop by the auditorium at 8:05 for a cup of coffee and to learn ALL ABOUT MATH! Students across grade levels will demonstrate math activities, there will be a gallery walk of math work and a short discussion about the new math report card with Mr. Dommer and Mrs. Morris.

Parking will be available in the bus loop starting at 7:55 and in the Hollymead parking lot. We hope to see you there!

HOLLYMEAD FUN FAIR

Join us for the Hollymead Family Fun Fair March 23rd from 4 pm to 6 pm. There will be a raffle, games, food and so much more! This event is one of the highlights of our school year, so plan to come and bring your friends, family, and neighbors!

FUN FAIR RAFFLE

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the fair. We will be accepting donations for raffle baskets through Thursday, March 21st. Each grade level has their own theme.

Kindergarten: Family Game and Movie Night

First: Arts and Crafts

Second: Gardening and Sports

Third: Cooking and Baking

Fourth: Spa and Reading

Fifth: Hot Chocolate and Coffee

NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR FOOD DRIVE

Remember to send in your donations for the Neighbor-4-Neighbor annual food drive to benefit the Blue Ridge Food Bank. From March 4th until March 22nd, there will be a barrel located inside of the school near the main entrance and we encourage you to participate! Below are a list of items that the Food Bank are most in need of. Thank you for any help you can give!

Most Needed Items! (No Glass Please!) 
– Canned soups, stews and chili- low sodium
– Canned veggies- low sodium
– Cereal- low sugar, whole grain
– Peanut or almond butter- low sugar
– Spaghetti sauce- low sugar
– Boxed Mac & Cheese
– Paper products
– Baby food, formula and diapers
– Soap and feminine products
– Toothbrushes
