This is our last week of the 2018-19 school year. Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday we were attending Back To School Night together.
It has been a successful year for the PTO with lots of fun events, students supported and staff appreciated. We purchased over $5000 in books, supplemented field trips, purchased classroom items for special projects and much, much more.
We’d like to say an extra thank you to a few of our retiring board members. Kelly Lynn, Sam Haas, Jill Dowling, Rosemary Moriarty and Crystal Pariseau have each worked behind the scenes to keep your PTO running smoothly. Thank you for your time and dedication to our community.
We’d also like to say thank you to our new Principal, Craig Dommer, and Vice Principal, Laura Morris. Your fresh ideas and perspectives were a welcome change. It was a year of getting to know each other and we appreciate your thorough approach to seeing how the school works, making thoughtful suggestions and taking the time to talk with the PTO board, parents and staff about ways to improve our efforts and our school.
We cannot end the year without welcoming our newly elected board members. Shannon and I will be stepping down but leave you in the very capable hands of your new Co- Presidents, Shannon DeSalvo and Sonja Carrick. We enjoyed working with them this year as Co-Vice Presidents and are excited about the ideas they have for next year. Kate DeLuca will be stepping in as Co-Volunteer Chair. We still have a few positions available so please reach out if interested. We need your help to ensure the success of our PTO.
And finally, everyone in our community is a member of the PTO. We want to thank each of you for contributing to a successful year.

We have a few extra yearbooks for sale. These are being sold on a first come, first serve basis in the office. Each book is $20 and cash or check, made out the PTO, are acceptable.

Two ways to purchase:
1. By paper:
– Complete the order form sent home in your child’s take home folder or fill out the form attached: School Supply Order Form
– Place the completed form, along with your check made payable to “Hollymead PTO”, in an envelope marked “School Supplies”, and return to school no later than Friday, June 7, 2019.
– Go to www.epipacks.com and enter the school ID: HOL194. Follow directions online to complete and pay for your order. Please keep your online confirmation as receipt.
– You have until June 30, 2017 to complete online orders. NOTE: online orders will be charged sales tax at checkout.
