Dining Night Out

Our next Dining Night Out is on Feb 9th  from 4-8pm at Skrimp Shack in the Rio Hill Shopping Center (next to Kroger). To benefit the PTO, orders must be placed in person at the cash register and you must mention Hollymead when you order. (Orders placed online will not benefit our school due to corporate policy)l.

Skrimp Shack is a new restaurant in our community that is very excited to partner with local schools to give back. The more our Hollymead community spends for dinner at Skrimp Shack on Feb 9th, the larger the percentage they share with our school. Help make the night a huge success! Skrimp Shack is ready to serve the Hollymead community by having dine-in or carry-out orders ready in 10 minutes, so dinner is on the table quickly.  Order a small or large family bundle that includes seafood, chicken, hushpuppies and sweet tea.  Seafood can be made fried, blackened or grilled and their chicken sandwich has been called the best in town. They also have a kids’ menu with chicken tenders and mac and cheese! There is something for everyone! Thank you for continuing to support the PTO and local community through the Dining Night Out program.

Holiday Dance Club

The PTO sponsored Hollymead Dance Club was a full success. Our club attendees learned fun and intricate dances and were able to showcase their skills at their Showcase on December 12. Thank you, dear families and Ms. Provines for coming out to the fun show! A special thank you to our volunteers that helped the dance club run smoothly: Mary Sharifi, Diana Hamlet and Racha Zeidan. Thank you, Katie Arostegui, for sharing your talent and bringing the joy of dance to our Hollymead students!

Cub Scouts Pack 206

Cub Scout Pack 206 meets at Hollymead on a monthly basis, with individual dens meeting more frequently.  Students in pack 206 come from Hollymead and Baker-Butler Elementary Schools.  If you have questions or are interested in Cub Scouts, please contact Mike McMurray, Committee Chair at chair@cubpack206.org or visit http://www.cubpack206.org/
